Seeing beauty in all things and wishing to follow her inner passion, Cynthia confidently moved on from a 10-year career as a highly successful financial businessperson. Her work today combines her natural talent for photography with a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Since launching her own studio, she brings her vision and artistic flair to a wide range of client projects and to her many other interests, which include painting, drawing, creative writing, and family.

Patricia called in the early year to ask me if I would be willing to travel to Toronto to photograph her twin girls who were turning the big one along with some family photos in her home. Of course I travel! I just love a family shoot in the comfort of your own home. Jumping on the bed, being lazy in p.j’s or cooking in the kitchen. Shooting in a clients home allows me to capture the every day life of a family. The real deal. The twins were fantastic to shoot and big sister was not so eager to take socks off her hands but I ended up winning her over in the end.

I can’t thank Leah enough from Addy Cakes – she custom made these beautiful huge cupcake cakes you see in the images! I was lucky enough to spend hours with this beautiful family. I honestly can say I feel like I am now a part of them. I hold these images close to my heart. Thank you for opening your home to me and sharing the love.
