I am a mother of two beautiful children, Lander & Adellaine. Don't be fooled by these angelic faces, they are wild and free - and love to test my patience behind the lens.
My husband, Colin, and I have been married for 13 years. In 2022, we renewed our vows on our 10th anniversary in an enchanted forest.
Three seasons that make me happy: Halloween for the costumes and street decor, Christmas for our annual National Lampoons Christmas Cards, and Easter for the Cadbury Cream eggs.
She was extremely welcoming, supportive and kind the entire shoot, and she made me feel beautiful. She is someone that will go the extra mile for her clients to ensure they’re happy

When is the best time to schedule my shoot?
I recommend that you schedule photos between 28 - 32 weeks, depending on how you are feeling.
What if my other children will not co-operate?
This happens. Children may not cooperate and we will do our best to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. Please book your session around naps and meal times. The session will be paid in full regardless of the child(s) behaviour.
What should I bring with me for the shoot?
We have a selection of maternity gowns available. However, we suggest you bring a variety of outfits: some fitted jeans and a cute t-shirt, a cute dress and leggings and a bandeau if possible. Ultrasound images are suggested as well as any props from the nursery other personal items you'd like to include.
What if it rains? Do we reschedule our shoot?
Yes please. We are unable to shoot in the rain as our camera gear will get ruined. Please book a tentative rain date if booking a shoot outdoors.

When is the best time to schedule my shoot? What should I know before booking?
I like to photograph newborns around days 5-14 after birth, in studio.
I suggest pre booking the shoot for approximately 5-8 days after your scheduled due date and we can rebook if baby does not appear on time. We will be doing all sleepy shots in their birthday suit for your newborn session.
Make sure your newborn has a VERY FULL belly before you leave to come to the studio. The full belly is to ensure that once you get to my studio we can start right away with posing. If you can keep your newborn up for 30-60 minutes before coming that would help to make them a little sleepier for the session.
When you arrive to the studio leave your newborn in their car seat and I will be in charge when you come in. Mommies sit in the back of the studio during the session so that we can keep the newborn peaceful. Sometimes if they smell or hear you, that can make them restless and harder to pose.
It's amazing how newborns work and their drive to eat! If your newborn needs to feed during the session, you will be provided privacy for nursing, or if you bring a bottle then I can feed your newborn. I prefer to have a bottle, but if you are exclusively nursing, we can take time out for that. Please bring a soother for soothing.
The studio is set to 30 degrees so make sure and dress light. If you get too warm in the studio, feel free to step out to cool off! We need the studio nice and warm so baby is tired and snuggly!
The session will take 3-4 hours, so please bring snacks, beverages, reading material to pass the time.
What kind of props and costumes do you have?
We have the largest selection a studio can offer of both female and male newborn outfits, hats, headbands, crowns, blankets, wraps and accessories. The parents only need to bring a sleepy, full newborn.
What should I pack to bring to the studio?

What should we wear?
I highly suggest wearing solids or simple patterns. You want to avoid any clothing that will date the images. Please avoid running shoes and ball caps.
Should the ladies get their hair and makeup done?
Yes! This is a huge investment of time, money and memories. We suggest spending some extra time on you before the session. Ask me for recommendations!

Throughout the year, Mini Sessions are offered to all clients on One-12 Photography. Minis are a popular way to document the season and to update extended family of your growing family. These are smaller shoots with a smaller gallery of images, allowing you to bundle with your regular family sessions.
